Resort 2011 Prints

Greens With Envy
Frilly Ferns
Scorpion Bowl
Jungle Glam Toile
Glamorous Life
Coral Intarsia
Exotic Lady
Reef Me Up

Above are my latest prints for Lilly Pulitzer's Resort 2011 collection.  The theme for the season is Jungle Glam! All of the prints have a very old Hollywood meets Palm Beach feel.  The leaves are bold, pretty and overgrown.  Resort is our MOST CHIC season, I'm so happy it is here!

Oceana Event

I had such a wonderful time at the Oceana event in Southhampton this summer.  Behind me is the coral painting I did at the event which was auctioned off for the cause.  In true Lilly form, after our work was done, the night was ended with a great dance party!

Fall 2011 Prints

Bravissimo

Lace You There

Bravissomo and Lace You There are two of my newest prints for the Lilly Pulitzer Fall 2011 line.  Bravissimo was inspired by my love of ikat patterns (done in a lilly sort of way) and Lace You There is printed ponte based on intricate lace patterns.  It is always a challenge to do Lilly for fall but I am loving the line.  We just wrapped up designing Fall 2012 (top secret) and it is looking fabulous too!

Lee Jofa

I featured a similar image image of the LP fabrics coming out for Lee Jofa a few weeks ago but had to post this picture because it's so much better.  My "Lace by the Docks" print is on the chair and my "I Dahlia" print is on the ottoman and throw pillows.  I'm looking forward to the fabrics becoming available this summer!

SCAD

SCAD recently wrote an article about my old coworker Torie and me.  It is a fun story about our experiences at the Savannah College of Art and Design and how I ended up getting hired to work for Lilly Pulitzer.  You can see the article here!

Lilly Pulitzer's New Ardmore Store

Here is the third of three toiles that I have painted in a Lilly Pulitzer shop.  It is in our Ardmore, PA store so it is made up of buildings, schools and special places all along the main line.
Hanging out in the toile dressing room at the Ardmore Grand Opening.  I am wearing one of my newest prints, "First Impression."
The front room of the Ardmore store has a cluster of crystal chandeliers in front of the entrance.  I painted chandeliers all over the walls and added touches of gold leaf for an extra sparkle.

Lee Jofa

Here is just a sneak peak at the new Lilly Pulitzer line being made for Lee Jofa.  The fabrics on the ottoman, pillows and chairs are my prints.  I am so excited for the line to come out!

Lonny Mag

Lonny Magazine visited the Lilly print studio the other week and I could not have been more thrilled.  I adored Michelle and her team, they are so sweet, fun and talented.  Below are some images from the article, you can check out the complete article here.
I painted this enormous painting behind the model for the spring 2011 photo shoot.  It is a painting of one of my prints that is coming out this spring called "It Can be Arranged."
We showed Lonny how we take a print from start to finish.  To the left is my original painting called "First Impression."  The cleaned and scanned version is in the middle and the dress to the right is the finished result.
